Users Table
Uploading Users
Users can be uploaded to the Security Journey Platform via SCIM, SSO, or .CSV
If you'd like to add users, click the “Add Users” button in the top right-hand corner of the Users table.
This will open a modal
From here, you can add a .CSV file
If you need help, you can download a starter template or review our Help Desk documentation directly from the modal
Or, you can manually add as many users as you’d like and provide a first name, last name, and give them a role (user or admin)
email address is required
Editing Users
Once users are added, you can edit their learner attributes from their User Profile.
These attributes will be displayed in the Learner's User Profile and as filters in our Platform Reports.
All these fields are visible in the Uses Table.
Additionally, you can add/remove Admin rights from the top left-hand side of this modal.
If a user is an Admin, they can also ‘receive activity notifications.’
If enabled, they will receive email notifications when users submit Mentor and Judgement requests for Levels Professional and Expert (Champions Passport).
User properties can be viewed and edited from this view.
Please note that if you are using SSO or SCIM, these fields can be overwritten in the next sync – based on customer SSO and SCIM settings
Users can also be archived and unarchived from this modal.
Bulk Actions
The Users Table allows you to complete bulk actions if needed. If at least one row is selected, three new options (in the top right) will appear:
Green Icon allows you to assign licenses to unlicensed users (if needed)
Red Icon allows you to bulk archive users
White Icon allows you to bulk in the platform that don’t have licenses, bulk archive (red icon) and bulk unarchive users (white icon)
Additional Features
User Export
All fields can be downloaded by exporting the users page via the circle icon in the very top right-hand side of the page.
Note: Only the columns displayed in the table will be exported. To view all data, select all columns from the column drop-down before exporting.
Search
The search at the top of the page will search across all columns in the table (it is a global search).
All columns (except for Status, Role and Actions) have their own search bar and will search directly within that column.
New: Developer Profile Fields
We’ve added new files based on Developer Profile data:
Job Function
Programming Language
Development Experience
Technical Experience
Tooling
These fields will only be displayed if the user has filled them out via the Developer Profile.
Keep in mind:
They cannot be edited by admins in the users table ‘edit’
Currently, they cannot be updated via .CSV upload
These fields will not be updated via SSO or SCIM and will not overwrite any existing attributes (ie, “Job function” will not overwrite the “Job Role” field)
