GitHub Past Due Check is an app integration that offers admins the ability to prevent merging pull requests from developers who are past due on their training.

If a developer is behind on their training, they will be notified by email that they are past due when they submit a pull request (PR).

Installing the app

You can enable the feature from the Admin Dashboard by navigating to Settings > App Integrations. Click on “Install”. You’ll be prompted to connect via OAuth to your GitHub organization. From there, you have the option to apply to All repositories or Only select repositories.

A note about GitHub Data Integration

The GitHub Past Due Check app integration is different from the GitHub Data Integration which takes vulnerabilities found in GitHub’s code scans to inform which content is most appropriate for your team and can be used to generate an Adaptive Training Plan.
