What are Learner Attributes?

You can choose to map learner attributes - things like first name, last name, title, job role, company, country etc. We use some of this data to enrich your learner's profiles. Additionally, these attributes can be used to do custom filtering on our Platform reports or to push out training assignments to different groups of people within your organization. Prerequisites:

  • Existing Enterprise Application for Security Journey

Adding New Attributes & Claims

  1. Browse to Identity > Applications > Enterprise Applications

  2. Find Security Journey

  3. Manage > Single Sign-on

  4. Edit Attributes & Claims

  5. + Add new claim

By default, Azure includes givenname, surname, emailaddress, name and the Unique User Identifier.

You can modify these existing claims or add new ones. If you choose to edit the existing claims, you will need to remove the 'namespace' URI from the claim configuration otherwise it will not come across as expected.

The screenshot below shows what it should look like after setup:

Note: Once you've added all your desired attributes, you will need to force a login. This can be accomplished by logging into the Security Journey Platform from an Incognito or InPrivate browser session.
