Security Journey SCORM

If you want to assign Security Journey training within your LMS, you can export an individual lesson or an entire path from the platform.

Prerequisites:

  • SSO Authentication; for more information how to setup SSO check out this collection.

  • A Learning Managment system that supports SCORM 2004, 4th edition.

Individual Lessons Export to SCORM

  1. Open the "Full Catalog" as an Admin user

  2. Click on the export button in the top right-hand corner of any lesson within the catalog

  3. Choose "Generate"

  4. The lesson will be exported as a SCORM file on your machine to be uploaded to your LMS

Exporting a Path to SCORM

  1. Navigate to a Recommended or Custom path that you'd like to export and click on the "Export to SCORM" button

  2. Next, choose "Generate"

  3. Each lesson will be exported as a zip file, within a larger parent zip file on your machine, to be uploaded to your LMS

Learner Experience

  • Learners will open the lesson within your LMS and take the lesson via the Security Journey platform.

    • They will see the lesson load immediately in a new browser tab

    • They will not see any navigation items (ex., the Full Catalog or User Profile) and will not be taken to the main site's map or list view

  • After completing the lesson, learners will see a button to go back to their LMS to take their next available lesson

Reporting

  • Lesson completion data will be automatically sent back to the LMS

  • Lesson data will also be recorded in Security Journey's available reports

Additional Details

  • Please remember that your LMS will handle all assignment functionality and is agnostic of the Security Journey platform
