How are learner proficiency scores generated?

HackEDU looks at the time spent in each lesson, the number of incorrect code submissions, and the number of hints a learner uses for coding challenges to generate proficiency scores.

The scores look at the average for all lessons and challenges in a given vulnerability category. Code submissions are not counted against a user's proficiency score for syntax errors.
