Testing Browser Connection

Before implementing any changes to your Network, you can test whether or not you are blocking any of our required domains by visiting our Testing Browser Connection page here.

Debugging Recommendations

  1. Use https://my.securityjourney.com/test-connection to verify that your browser and network setup is not blocking connections to domains that we use. If any of the domains on this page are failing to connect, contact your IT team to resolve this issue before moving to the next step.

  2. If all domains from #1 are connecting and you are still having issues with lesson functionality, verify that you are exempting all of the domains listed from packet inspection. For example, GlobalProtect uses its gateway and firewall to examine the packets within the encrypted tunnel created by the VPN connection. This is done to ensure that traffic traveling through the tunnel adheres to security policies. However, this packet inspection can cause issues with HTTP streams or Websocket connections.

If your browser is showing errors with a my.securityjourney.com URL ending in /stream, this is likely the cause. Please contact your IT team to resolve this issue by exempting traffic to my.securityjourney.com from packet or SSL tunnel inspection.
