Learn what Quests are in Security Journey, how they supplement learning paths, and how to create and activate a Quest for your learners.
What is a Quest?
A Quest lets learners take a “side journey” by completing lessons that aren’t part of their current learning path.
When a learner completes a Quest, they earn a certificate.
When should I use a Quest?
Quests are commonly used to supplement a learner’s existing path or to focus on a specific learning goal.
Examples include:

Running a special Quest during Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Assigning targeted content for PCI compliance
Once a Quest is created, it becomes available to all learners and appears:

on the learner’s map under the Quest dropdown (left side), or
-
in list view under the Quest menu
How to set up a Quest
To create a Quest:

Go to Admin → Paths & Quests → My Quests

Select Add a New Quest

Complete the required fields:

Quest Name
-
Description
-
-
Use the filters or module search to find and add the lessons you want to include.

Select Save Changes.

Select Activate Quest so it becomes visible to learners.
