User Managment

Use the Users page to add and manage users in the Security Journey platform. From the Users table, you can upload users, update profiles, manage admin access, archive users, and run bulk actions.

Users Table

The Users Table is the central place to view and manage users in the Security Journey Platform. From here, admins can upload users, edit user information, and take action on one or multiple users.

Navigate to the Users table

To open the Users table:
  1. Log in to the Security Journey platform.

  2. Go to Users to view the Users table.


Add users (CSV upload)

Users can be added to the Security Journey Platform using one of the following methods:

  • SCIM

  • SSO

  • CSV upload

To upload users manually:

  1. Click the Add Users button in the top-right corner of the Users Table.

  2. A modal window will open.

  3. In the upload modal, select your CSV file.
    • If needed, you can download a starter template or review the related documentation directly from the upload modal.

  4. Upload your CSV file.

Edit a user

To edit a user’s profile:
  1. In the Users table, find the user.

  2. Click edit to open their User Profile.

  3. Update any available fields.

  4. Save your changes.

Note: If your organization uses SSO or SCIM, some fields may be overwritten during the next sync depending on your identity provider configuration.


Update learner attributes

Learner attributes appear on the learner’s profile and can be used in reporting.

To update learner attributes:

  1. Open the user’s User Profile.

  2. Locate the Learner Attributes section.

  3. Edit the fields.

  4. Save changes.


Manage admin access

Admins can assign or remove admin access from the user profile.

To update admin access:

  1. Open the user’s User Profile.

  2. Add or remove Admin rights.

  3. Save your changes.


Enable admin activity notifications

Admins can receive email notifications when learners submit requests in Champions Passport.

To enable notifications:

  1. Open the user’s User Profile.

  2. Confirm the user has Admin rights.

  3. Enable receive activity notifications.

When enabled, the admin receives notifications for:
  • Mentor requests
  • Judgement requests for Professional and Expert level activities

Archive or unarchive users

Archiving removes a user from active use without deleting them.

To archive or unarchive a user:

  1. Open the user’s User Profile.

  2. Select Archive or Unarchive.

  3. Confirm your selection.


Use bulk actions

You can apply actions to multiple users at once,

To use bulk actions:

  • Select one or more users in the Users table.

  • In the top-right of the page, choose a bulk action:

    • Assign licenses to unlicensed users
    • Bulk archive users
    • Bulk unarchive users

Export users

User Table export includes only the columns currently shown in the table.

To export users:

  1. Click the export icon (top-right of the Users table).

  2. Download the export file.

To update your export to include additional learner attributes :
  1. Use the column dropdown to display additional columns.

  2. Run the export again.


Search for users

The Users Table includes two search methods:

Global search

  • Use the search bar at the top of the page to search across all table columns.

Column search

  • Most columns include their own search bar filter.
  • Status and Role do not have column-level search.

Developer Profile fields

The Users table may display additional fields from a user’s Developer Profile, including:
  • Job Function

  • Programming Language

  • Development Experience

  • Technical Experience

  • Tooling

Keep in mind:

  • Admins can’t edit these fields in the Users edit modal

  • These fields can’t be updated via CSV upload

  • These fields aren’t updated via SSO or SCIM

  • These fields don’t overwrite existing learner attributes

    • Example: Job Function does not overwrite Job Role
