Error: "Couldn't Load Video"

Troubleshoot the “Couldn’t load video” error in Security Journey, including common causes, browser fixes, and network or access requirements.

Issue:

You've opened a video lesson but the video will not load. You may also see a red banner in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

 

Security Journey hosts all video content on Vimeo. If you’re unable to play a video, it may be blocked by your organization’s network security settings or internal firewall rules. This issue could be caused by expired licenses.

In some environments (often depending on location or corporate policy), access to Vimeo is restricted. If Vimeo is blocked on your network, Security Journey videos will not load.

What you can do

  • Try accessing the video from a different network (for example, home Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot).

  • Ask your IT or Security team to allowlist Vimeo so videos can play successfully.
