Assessment Reporting

This article explains the reporting tools available for Assessments in Security Journey and how to view or download those reports.

Where to Find Assessment Reports

To see assessment results:

  1. Go to the Security Journey Admin dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Reporting → Assessments.

There, you’ll see a list of all assessments your organization has run — both current and past.

What’s in the Assessment Report

The Assessment Report shows key data about how learners performed. For each assessment, you can see:

  • Average Score — the average result across all learners.

  • Average Time Spent — how long learners spent taking the assessment.

  • Proficiency Score — a skill level based on performance.

Proficiency Levels

After someone completes an assessment, they are given a proficiency category:

  • Foundational: 0 – 59% correct

  • Intermediate: 60 – 79% correct

  • Advanced: 80% + correct

You can filter the report using these levels, which helps you identify learners with lower scores.

Seeing Individual Learner Results

In the Assessment Report, you can click into a specific learner’s results to see exactly which questions they got right or wrong.

The data shown here can also be exported as a .CSV file if you want to analyze it in a spreadsheet or other tool.

Resetting Assessments

If a learner needs to retake an assessment, you can reset their progress directly from the Assessment Report.

(Instructions on reset are covered in a related article if you need more detail.)

What Learners See

When a learner finishes an assessment:

  • They receive a summary report showing how they performed.

  • Their results are under the Assessment menu on their map or list view in the platform.

  • Learners can download their results as a PDF if they want a copy for themselves.
