What are Path Versions?
Path Versioning
The My Paths feature uses path versioning. This means learners are enrolled in the version of a path that was latest at the time they enrolled.
How Versioning Works
-
When you publish a path and learners enroll, they are assigned the current “Latest” version.
-
Every time you edit and save a custom path, Security Journey creates a new version.
-
New versions appear in the “Latest” dropdown.
-
Learners who enrolled in an earlier version will not automatically see changes made in newer versions.
Viewing Older Versions
-
Previous versions are listed by the date and time they were created (MM/DD/YY + timestamp).
Keeping Learners on the Same Content
If all learners must complete the exact same content:
-
You will need to delete the existing path and recreate it, then have learners enroll again.
Best practice: To avoid confusion, finalize custom paths before publishing so all learners receive the intended content from the start.
